In this article a little writing how to update my Asus Eee PC (2009) that has a hard disk and 1 GB of memory to one with a SSD and 2 GB of memory.

Most of the work was finding the right SSD and memory. Here the full description of the components:

• Kingston 120GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5 (7mm SV300S37A/120 height)
• Crucial 2GB DDR2 667MHz (PC2-5300) CL5 SODI CT25664AC667 MM 200pin

Open the case on the back sight by tighten the screws.

Once again to get hard disk out, tighten the 2 screws.
For the memory, use the notches to remove the memory bank.

The hard disk should by remove out of its bracket by tighten 2 screws. Replace the disk with the SSD in the bracket.
Place the memory into its place.

Place the cover and tighten the 2 screws.

Install openSUSE.
